ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
ROUND MOUNTAIN
Round Mountain is the music of Santa Fe brothers Robby and Char Rothschild, often with bassist Jon Gagan. Since 2002, they've been creating music together that binds their separate global musical adventures into a family-rooted sound. They've released four albums, and many Santa Feans of all ages have experienced the lilt of their music, which strikes a multi-instrumental acoustic chord between longing and belonging.
HIGH DESERT TRIO
The High Desert Trio is a Santa Fe based band that was born out of the need for outdoor, socially distanced, jam sessions during the height of the COVID pandemic. Frustrated musicians, with no gigs for months on end, they found joy in our musical comradery. The High Desert Trio has a jam-oriented bluegrass sound that opens the doors to improvisation that has no limits. What started out as a way to satisfy their need for playing music with other musicians evolved into strong musical connections and friendships.
