IRENE DIAZ
Irene Diaz, a singer from Los Angeles, began her music career in 2010. She became known for her soulful songs and simple musical style, often performing with only a piano, guitar, or ukulele. Her music was inspired by artists such as Sade, Nina Simone, Hope Sandoval, and Ritchie Valens, allowing her powerful voice and emotional delivery to stand out.
Her talent quickly gained attention, earning praise from music critics and media outlets. NPR featured her in its popular Tiny Desk Concerts series and has highlighted her work multiple times. Other publications, including OC Weekly, the Los Angeles Times, Rolling Stone, and Grimy Goods, have also recognized her music and songwriting.
One of her most popular songs, "Crazy Love," released in 2013, has received more than 4 million streams on Spotify. The song was also named one of Bride.com's top 10 wedding songs, alongside tracks by John Legend and Lana Del Rey. Because of its worldwide popularity, Diaz is often invited to perform "Crazy Love" at private events around the world.
Whether performing in small venues like Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles or for crowds of more than 13,000 people at a Selena Tribute Concert in Chicago, Irene Diaz continues to impress audiences with her heartfelt lyrics and engaging stage presence. She has established herself as an important voice in contemporary music.
