BAD SUNS

Bad Suns are entering a bold new era with Accelerator, their vibrant fifth album. Since forming in 2012, the Los Angeles trio—Christo Bowman (vocals/guitar), Gavin Bennett (bass), and Miles Morris (drums)—have evolved from teenage indie-rock phenoms to seasoned artists, blending shimmering ‘80s synths, infectious pop hooks, and introspective lyrics.

Following their rejuvenating 2023 Infinite Joy EP, Accelerator finds the band reconnecting with longtime producer Eric Palmquist to explore a dance-pop direction inspired by ‘90s house, while staying true to their roots. Across 12 tracks, Bowman reflects on personal growth, sobriety, fatherhood, and embracing change with clarity and heart.

With standout singles like “Communicating,” “Slow Karma,” and “Back to Zero,” Accelerator captures Bad Suns at their most creatively energized—celebrating the past, owning the present, and charging into the future with purpose.
